🔥 Five Stages. Two Days. One Hell of a Time.

The Cycling South Canterbury Two-Day Tour is back and it’s shaping up to be a belter. With five stages across two days, it's designed to challenge your form, fire up your racing instincts, and leave you grinning (or grimacing) at the finish line.

🗓 Stage Breakdown

Day 1 – Saturday 30 August

• Collect your race packs from 7:30 AM at Southburn Hall

• Rider briefing at 8:45 AM

Stage 1 – 4km Time Trial (all grades) – from 9:30 AM

Stage 2 – Road Race – from 11:30 AM

Open A/B/C/U17 A: 40km (2 laps)

Open D/E: 20km (1 lap)

U17 B: 20km (1 lap)

U17 C: 20km (1 lap)

Stage 3 – Afternoon Road Race – from 2:00 PM

Open A/B/C/U17 A: 46km (1 lap)

Open D/E: 25km (1 lap)

U17 B: 46km (1 lap)

U17 C: 20km (1 lap)

🕔 Saturday Prizegiving

At The Sail, Sophia Street, Timaru – around 5:30 PM (as soon as results are in). Expect laughs, yarns, and a heap of spot prizes.

Day 2 – Sunday 31 August

• Rider briefing at 9:00 AM at Fairview Hall

Stage 4 – Road Race – from 9:30 AM

Open A: 75km (3 laps)

Open B/C/U17 A: 50km (2 laps)

Open D/E: 25km (1 lap)

U17 B: 50km (2 laps)

U17 C: 25km (1 lap)

Stage 5 – Final Stage – from 12:30 PM

Open A/B/C/U17 A: 50km (1 full lap – hilly out-and-back)

Open D/E/U17 B: 39km (1 short lap)

U17 C: 29km (short)

🏁 Sunday Prizegiving

Fairview Hall – approximately 3:00 PM, immediately after the final stage.

• Open A to E Grades

• U17 A–C (includes capable U15s and U13s; ability-based)
